It has been a lot of fun and hard work owning Pickerman’s. A new look displaying art work from DeLoy Wilson and color pencil prints from Mark Wilson along with a collection of paintings from Ali Kirsch has transformed Pickerman’s West Des Moines country look into a great atmosphere for customers to enjoy.
Our Deli is open Monday through Friday from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm. Pickerman’s is a soup and sandwich restaurant that serves fresh and healthy sandwiches and soups. Pickerman’s offers catering for business luncheons, parties, weddings and sporting events. Our restaurant is also used as a banquet facility on nights and weekends for business meetings and special events.

Is owned and operated by Brent and Lori Wilson. Their two children, Jessica and Drew help out during busy times. After obtaining an Industrial Technology degree from the University of Northern Iowa, Brent worked 21 years in the Steel Industry. After spending the last 8 years on the road, it was time to be home and try a new challenge. Lori also graduated from UNI with a degree in Food and Nutrition. Her experience she had gained from her current career testing and developing recipes for Meredith’s Better Homes and Gardens test kitchen has been a huge help to Brent at Pickerman’s.
